December 9, 2007
South Salt Lake police have questioned a man in connection with three arson-caused car fires in front of a business.
Just after 7 p.m. Tuesday, police and fire crews were called to two vehicles on fire at Anytime Emissions, 2967 S. State.
A third fire was spotted later at the business by a South Salt Lake police officer. The officer also spotted a man running across the street from the business and detained him, said detective Gary Keller.
The vehicles were older, and damage to all three totaled about $5,000, South Salt Lake Fire Battalion Chief Terry Addison said.
