GS EnviroServices Announces Energy Management Agreement
GS EnviroServices Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: GSEN) announced an Environmental Services and Management Agreement with Olson’s Greenhouses, Inc. located in Raynham, MA. Olson’s operates 225,000 square feet of greenhouses, 60 (sixty) acres of outdoor production and has a Class A Recycling Permit for the recycling of one million gallons per year of on-specification of oil and water. The Agreement calls for the management of marketing and environmental services for these materials and is part of GS EnviroServices’ overall strategy to focus on the recycling and reuse of carbonaceous materials.
GS EnviroServices consists of two operating groups named Enviro-Safe Corporation and Enviro-Safe Corporation (NE). The Company has five strategic locations throughout New England specializing in Environmental Management Services. These services include transportation and disposal of waste materials, consulting and engineering services and a broad range of remedial services.
“We are extremely pleased to announce this Agreement with the Olson Group,” noted James Green, President and CEO. “This is our first step in the implementation of our plan to focus on activities that involve the management of various carbon bearing by-products for energy utilization and recycling. We have spent twenty years assisting our clients in cleaning the environment, and our strategy now is to also assist them in decreasing the consumption of the environment.”
The Company has also applied to receive a Marketer and Blender Permit for used oils at its RCRA Part B permitted facility located in Lowell, MA. “This activity will allow the Lowell facility to decrease costs for the management of existing oil materials and to expand its market share in this area,” noted Steve Powers, VP of Operations.
“Enviro-Safe has demonstrated the ability to operate a safe, compliant and cost effective operation. The synergies created through this partnership will create immediate efficiencies and cost savings impacting both companies. We feel that through their Parent Company, GreenShift (OTC Bulletin Board: GSHF), they have the emerging technologies to assist us in expanding our reuse of materials to create additional alternative energy sources,” noted Matt Piscitelli, CEO of Olson’s Greenhouses, Inc.
This first step is the foundation of the formation of an additional operating group, Enviro-Energy Corporation. It is anticipated that this group will be formed in the fourth quarter of this year and will be fully operational for the fiscal beginning January 1, 2008.
