People Do Not Want the Incinerating Plant in Semtin

AVE CZ (Czech Republic), involved in waste disposal, wants to modernize the dangerous waste incinerating plant on the premises of the chemical firm Synthesia (Pardubice-Semtin, Czech Republic). The incinerating plant should dispose 20,000 t of chemicals per year from the middle of 2010. It should be supplied with waste from industrial companies and old dangerous waste dumps. According to the documentation to the evaluation ofthe influence over the environment, the incinerating plant should discharge only 0.018 g of cancerous dioxines to the air every year. The fact is the main problem for the opposers of the incinerating plant. According to some specialists, dioxines are dangerous in every quantity.
