Bancorp Rhode Island, Inc. Announces Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2007 Earnings Release Date, Conference Call and Webcast

Bancorp Rhode Island, Inc. (NASDAQ: BARI) announced today that it will release its fourth quarter and full year 2007 earnings on Thursday, January 24, 2008. The Company will host a conference call at 10 a.m. EST later that morning to discuss these results and the company's plans and prospects for 2008.

Merrill W. Sherman, president and chief executive officer, will host the teleconference. She will be joined by Linda H. Simmons, chief financial officer and treasurer.
