A study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a COX-2 specific inhibitor in treating symptoms of severe rheumatoid arthritis. Volunteers who are at least 18 years of age, have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis for at least 6 months, and are currently being treated with an NSAID (such as naproxen or ibuprofen) may be eligible to participate.
