Repost This

Com-Cycle, a wholly owned subsidiary of AERC Recycling Solutions, is excited to announce the first of many “Electronic Recycling Events” to take place throughout California during 2008. After 14 years of being in business and a member of the Hayward community, Com-Cycle Hayward is proud to start this event and offer local businesses residents an opportunity to responsibly dispose of their electronics.

“Many Californians are unaware that throwing away certain electronic items, such as computer monitors and televisions in the trash is illegal due to the environmentally sensitive materials they contain,” states Frank Alioto, President of Com-Cycle. “Com-Cycle is scheduling ‘E-Cycling’ Events throughout the year to aid Californians as they do their part in preserving and protecting the environment.”

Hayward residents and businesses are invited to drop-off and recycle their old televisions, computers and other electronic equipment at Com-Cycle Hayward, 1475 Crocker Avenue between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Friday, January 18th for Hayward businesses and Saturday, January 19th for Hayward Residents.

AERC / Com-Cycle maintains a “Zero-Waste-to-Landfill” Policy for all of our electronics recycling services. The Company guarantees that any equipment dropped off at any of our events will not end up in a landfill. For a complete list of acceptable materials, please refer to the list below.
