Western New York Construction Firms Announce Staffing Changes: January 29, 2008

Leo J. Roth Corp., a Webster, N.Y.-based heating, air conditioning and roofing contractor, recently became a member of the U.S. Green Building Council. Current LEED projects the company is working on include the Gateway Building at Ithaca College and the Wolk Building at Monroe Community College.

Bergmann Associates hired Donald J. Middleton, PE, CFPS and Michael A. Ports, PE, PH, D.WRE. Middleton joined the firm as a senior mechanical engineer and project manager in the Syracuse office. He will be involved primarily in advanced manufacturing, higher education and retail/commercial markets. Ports was named principal water resources engineer. Located at the Jacksonville office, Ports brings national and international experience to firm’s civil works and water resources group and will lead the water resources business on a national basis.
