Bernod Launches Certified Organic Cotton Candy
The Bernod Group has announced the launch of its SpunCity brand of certified organic cotton candy.
The company claims that the new product contains no chemicals, dyes, pesticides, cholesterol or sodium, and that it is vegan and a treat for kids of all ages.
Manufactured in the US, it will initially be available at natural food retailers in southern California in convenient natural grape-flavored one-ounce ready-to-eat packages for home snack use.
The company is also rolling out a 1.5-pound SpunCity foodservice pack. This latest product adds to the company’s line, which includes Bernod’s PopCity Gourmet Popcorn, as well as Bernod’s SpunCity Cotton Candy.
John Mularky, a principal and co-founder of the Bernod Group, said: “This new product is not just the only certified organic cotton candy that provides an all-natural, deliciously decadent treat; at the same time it satisfies even the sweetest sweet tooth. People ask me how it’s possible, and I tell them that this is an example of exactly what makes us unique.”
