Chemical Week, the world’s leading provider of news and analysis for the chemical industry, today launched the Chemical Week Online Career Center. This dynamic new service includes a robust chemical job search engine, and over 800 job postings spanning entry level recruiting through C-level positions and postings in virtually all sectors of the chemical industry.

The new online feature complements the current print classified section in Chemical Week magazine, and stores hundreds of job listings that can be accessed by searching for specific job type or industry.

“With our Online Career Center, Chemical Week will provide a valuable service to the chemical community by going beyond just delivering news. We now virtually engage the Chemical Week brand to facilitate new relationships throughout the chemical industry network,” says Lyn Tattum, Group VP & Publisher.

“We re-launched our website last year with tremendous success. Site traffic for www.chemweek.com community grew dramatically, and we are looking forward to increased visits from new readers with our Online Career Center,” says Robert Westervelt, CW’s Editor-In-Chief. “We are regularly adding features to our online platform, and it is consistently generating positive results.”

Companies currently listing jobs in Chemical Week’s Online Career Center include BASF, Air Products, Chevron, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Delta and Bayer. These corporations and other employers will benefit from the increased online popularity of chemweek.com, and in addition, will have the leverage of Chemical Week’s sister publication, Chemical Engineering.

Chemical Week knows how hard it is for employers to find top quality chemical business professionals, and for those professionals to find the right employers. The new Online Career Center connects member and nonmember professionals in their search to find the right career fit.
