Le 750 Million for Mubarak Complex for Gas, Petrochemicals in Damietta

The Ministry of Transport has allocated 195,000 meters for a project to manufacture polyester at costs amounting to LE 750 millionas part of Mubarak complex for gas and petrochemicals project in Damietta. The project will be carried out by an investment consortium comprising the Holding Company for Petrochemicals, Enppi Company and an Indian company that produces polyester.The production capacity of the project will reach 315,000 tonnes annually in its first stages giving way to several small and medium industries and providing around 2,000 direct and indirect job opportunities, according to Minister of Transport Mohamed Lotfi Mansour.
