Precise Biometrics Bags Match-on-Card Order From US Police Department

Precise Biometrics has been awarded an order to supply 50,000 licenses of Precise Match-on-Card for an employee ID card program to one of the largest Police Departments in the USA. The total project value for Precise Biometrics is expected to reach SEK2-5 million.
Precise Biometrics supplies the Match-on-Card technology to enable the Police Department to prove their employees's identities in a fast, secure and reliable way. The total project value is expected to reach at least SEK2 million, comprising both Precise Match-on-Card software and fingerprint readers. The project will run during 2008 and 2009, and may result in additional hardware orders.
The department plans to modernize internal IT-programs. Through the introduction of an employee card with Precise Match-on-Card for Java cards, the Police Department will improve its security.
