National Foods Makes Indicative Offer to Buy Dairy Farmers

National Foods, which is owned by Kirin Holdings, has made an indicative offer to acquire Dairy Farmers, a milk and cheese producer, reported Reuters.
Dairy Farmers put itself up for sale in February 2008. The company revealed that it is very interested in a deal that is worth $730 to $920 million.
First-round offers in the sale process, which is being run by Goldman Sachs JBWere, have closed.
