Wabash National(R) Corporation Accepted As a Member of the Indiana Environmental Stewardship Program

Wabash National Corporation (NYSE: WNC) today announced that the company has been accepted as a member of Indiana's Environmental Stewardship Program. Wabash National joins a select group of facilities across Indiana with such an accomplishment in environmental excellence.

"Being recognized as an environmental steward reflects our dedication to driving world-class environmental initiatives," said Brent Yeagy, Wabash National's Vice President of Manufacturing, Lafayette Operations. "This achievement was only made possible through the combined effort and dedication of each and every associate at Wabash National."

Becoming a member of Indiana's Environmental Stewardship Program recognizes Wabash National's commitment to implementing processes and procedures to protect the environment and drive for continuous improvement in environmental performance.

Indiana's Environmental Stewardship Program is a voluntary, performance-based leadership program designed to recognize and reward Indiana regulated entities for going above and beyond current environmental regulations by enforcing an environmental management system, committing to continuous improvement, and meeting rigid requirements for membership.
