FIJI Water Announces Local Retail Partnerships to Raise Funds for Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

LOS ANGELES, April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- FIJI(R) Water, the leading premium bottled water brand and a proud supporter of the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer since its inception in 2003, announced today it is expanding its partnership with the Avon Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Through this partnership, FIJI Water continues to be the official bottled water of the Avon Walk in all nine cities and will now also donate 5% of all FIJI Water sales from participating retailers during the month of each Avon Walk. Avon Walks are scheduled for the following cities:

Celebrating its 6th year as one of America's most recognized fund-raisers, the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is a project of the Avon Foundation that raises funds and awareness to advance access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer, with a focus on the medically underserved. From 2003 through 2007, the Avon Walks attracted 75,000 participants and raised $200 million. All funds raised by the FIJI Water partnership will be utilized to support the areas funded by the Avon Foundation: breast cancer awareness and education; screening and diagnosis; access to treatment; support services and scientific research.

In addition, FIJI Water will continue to provide the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer participants with what they need most -- hydration.
