Holt Products in Science, Language Arts and Social Studies Win Recognition As Finalists in Distinguished Achievement Awards

Five curriculum products from Holt McDougal (www.holtmcdougal.com) were named as finalists in the 2008 Distinguished Achievement Awards (DAA) sponsored by the Association of Educational Publishers. The honored curriculum products and their categories include:

For four decades, the AEP Distinguished Achievement Awards (www.aepweb.org/awards) have recognized diverse print, electronic, and instructional resources exhibiting superior content and educational value. Judging panels are drawn from a national pool of writing, publishing, and design experts in print and technology; education editors; educators; and curriculum experts. Winners will be announced at an awards banquet in Washington, D.C. on June 6.

Eighteen Holt products have been selected as finalists and seven products have won their category in the Distinguished Achievement Awards since 2003. Last year's winners from Holt include Holt Science and Technology Lab Generator CD-ROM, Holt Exploring Food and Fitness Choices Interactive CD-ROM, Holt Multicultural Readers and Holt Lesson Tutorial Videos for Holt Mathematics.
