2008 National Maritime Day Seminar 'The Environmental Imperative: Accelerating Solutions'

WHAT: A seminar for government and industry participants, in conjunction with National Maritime Day 2008 titled, "The Environmental Imperative: Accelerating Solutions." The two-hour panel discussion will explore the role of government in protecting the marine environment, the enforcement of regulations, the safeguarding of industry, commercial solutions and tools, a call for cooperation among stakeholders, legal challenges and the human factor.
