Urea Spills into River

A urea spill into the Waikato River yesterday will not cause any serious damage to the environment, according to the regional council, Environment Waikato. A truck carrying urea overturned about 7.30am on Tutukau Rd, which links SH1 with SH5, near Orakei-Korako, spilling some of its load into the river.
