Senate Confirms 2 for Board of Regents

The Utah Senate on Wednesday confirmed Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr.’s appointments of the Rev. France Davis and Basim Motiwala as members of the Utah Board of Regents.
Davis leads the Calvary Baptist Church in Salt Lake City. He replaces Sara Sinclair on the board.
Motiwala is a former vice president for the Associated Students of the University of Utah and will be the student regent.
Both Davis’ and Motiwala’s terms will expire on June 30, 2009.
