Jun. 20—- MIDSUMMER FESTIVAL — The Swedish Heritage Society of Northern Colorado’s annual Midsummer Festival will be Saturday at the South Pavilion in Eaton Park. Members, families and friends are invited to bring a potluck meal and their own table service. Coffee and water will be furnished by the society board members. The festival began many years ago in Sweden and is carried on by families of Swedish heritage who live here. Decorating of the traditional Maypole will begin at 11 a.m. After a meal, they will play Swedish music as people dance around the Maypole. Those who attend are asked to bring tables and chairs decorated with Swedish items. Those who have native costumes are encouraged to wear them.

— DUTCH HOP — The Northern Colorado Dutch Hop will sponsor a dance from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2121, 2514 7th Ave. John Fritzler will provide music. Admission is $6 and those 14 and younger are free. Food and drink will also be available. For details, call John Prall at (970) 330-3460.

— MORE DUTCH HOP with music by Rich Dechant from 3-7 p.m. at the Windsor American Legion, 624 Ash St., Windsor. The event is sponsored by American Volga Germans and hosted by Rich and Janet Dechant. German and American food will be available. Admission is $6 adults; children 14 and younger are free when accompanied by an adult. For details call (970) 330-5422 or (970) 515-6636.

— LIONS PROGRAM — “How to Deal with Stress” will the topic of a program Monday at the Greeley Noon Lions Club. The program is presented by Solecki Chiropractic and Physical Therapy. The Lions Club meets at noon Mondays at the Greeley Recreation Center, 651 10th Ave. Guests are welcome.

— SEWING LUNCHEON — The Sewing Professionals of Northern Colorado luncheon meeting will be from noon-1:30 p.m. Friday, June 27, at Shelley’s Sewing Studio, 2920 Champion Circle, Loveland. Table service and beverages will be provided for the potluck luncheon. After lunch, Shelley Baldwin will lead a discussion about “Solving Sewing Problems.” Bring sewing problems to solve or samples of problems that have been solved. Prospective members should bring samples of their work. R.S.V.P to Baldwin at (970) 232-4325 by Wednesday.
