Westminster College and the American Association of University Women will sponsor a unique summer camp, AWE+SUM, which stands for Attend Westminster Explore Science Use Math.
The camp, open to all girls entering the eighth grade this fall, will run June 26-28 and provides an opportunity for girls to explore the fun of math and science in workshops conducted by Westminster faculty and students.
Girls will learn to solve problems using technology, learn about exciting careers in math and science and meet women using math and science in their careers.
The camp costs $25 and includes lodging and meals. For more information, contact Carolyn Connell at 801-832-2402 or e-mail cconnell@westminstercollege.edu.
