Scoffing While Millions Starve

Absolute disgrace is the only way to describe the recent goings on at a so-called World Poverty Meeting.

How can they blabber on about helping poorer nations to eat and grow their own food when they are polishing it all off themselves? How does a five-course meal, involving caviar and quail, washed down with a Chianti and the odd bottle of champers, look to millions of starving people?

I won't even mention the waste of fuel and the environmental damage it cost to fly these freeloading politicians on another jolly!
