Leading Government Consulting Firm Expands Energy and Environment Practice

WASHINGTON, July 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- NSI, a Washington, D.C. based government and business consulting firm, announced today the expansion of its Energy and Environment Practice, led by industry thought leaders, Terry Tamminen and Bonnie Reiss. Tamminen, the Managing Director, and Reiss, a Senior Advisor, join Vice President Kevin Matthews as the leadership team.

Prior to NSI, Tamminen was appointed as the Secretary of the California Environmental Protection Agency in 2003, and served as Cabinet Secretary, the Chief Policy Advisor to Governor Schwarzenegger. Tamminen continues to advise Governor Schwarzenegger and several other U.S. Governors on climate and energy policies and is at the forefront of rolling out a U.S. national climate plan. Reiss served as Senior Advisor to Governor Schwarzenegger from 2003-2007, and was the Governor's point person on education, environment, women's issues, public safety and children's health. She was also involved in passing progressive environment and energy laws in California. Matthews was Director of Government Relations for AIG Environmental, and held multiple positions with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington D.C.
