August 14, 2008

A wildfire burning in central Utah could be contained today, officials said.

The Dry Fork fire has charred 30 acres of steep terrain in the Manti-La Sal National Forest just seven miles northeast of Levan.

The fire was 75 percent contained Wednesday night, said Forest Service spokesman Chris Wehrli.

The fire is not threatening any structures. No injuries have been reported.
