Epolin, Inc. Mourns Loss of Board Member Morris Dunkel
EPOLIN, INC. (OTCBB: EPLN) (www.epolin.com) today announced that Dr. Morris Dunkel, a member of the Board of Directors, died on August 22, 2008. Dr. Dunkel served as a director of the corporation since 1984.
“The entire corporation mourns the loss of Morris Dunkel. We were very fortunate to have him as part of the Epolin Board of Directors,” said Murray S. Cohen, Ph.D., Chairman of the Board. “During the corporation’s early years, Morris was a major force in developing the technology and providing the basic structure which ultimately led to the growth of Epolin. His mentoring and friendship will not easily be replaced. On behalf of all of our employees and the Board of Directors, I extend our deepest sympathy to his wife, Marilyn, and the entire family.”
Epolin, Inc. is a specialized chemical company primarily engaged in the manufacturing, marketing, research and development of infrared dyes, laser absorbing dyes and infrared dye formulations. The Company’s business is heavily weighted towards the development, manufacture and sale of near infrared dyes. Applications for these dyes cover several markets that include laser protection, welding, sunglasses, optical filters, glazing and imaging and security inks and tagants. The Company also manufactures specialty chemicals for certain chemical manufacturers.
