Beaches Closed

DUNEDIN – Increased levels of harmful bacteria in the water forced the Dunedin City Council to close two beaches yesterday. To prevent anyone from being infected, the council has issued a warning against swimming or paddling at St Kilda and St Clair beaches until further notice.
