NDGFD Patrolling River This Weekend
August 29, 2008
The North Dakota Game and Fish Department will enhance enforcement on the Missouri River this weekend by having more game wardens than usual in the Bismarck-Mandan area.
Robert Timian, chief of enforcement, said wardens will be noticeable during the long Labor Day weekend.
“We are going to have a lot of officers on the river,” Timian said. “Our main focus is to ensure safety, and part of that effort includes looking for boating under the influence violations.”
