Vegetation Fire Off Crow Canyon Road Contained

Firefighters have contained a 20-acre vegetation fire on the 7000 block of Crow Canyon

Road in unincorporated Alameda County, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.

The 4-alarm blaze was contained at about 4 p.m., according to the dispatch center. About 150 horses were evacuated and one structure was damaged in the blaze, which was reported at about 2 p.m.

About 80 firefighters , five aircraft and 20 personnel from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office responded to the blaze.

No injuries have been reported from the fire, which shut down Crow Canyon

Road between Cull Canyon Road and Bollinger Canyon Road in San Ramon, the San

Ramon Valley Fire Protection District reported.
