Water Resources and Dr. Mahmoud Abu Zeid said that flood waters is continuing to reach High Dam Lake on daily basis and we are storing amount of it and the rest issued for daily use of agriculture, industry and drinking water which is reaching now almost 235 million cubic meters a day. Flood water coming out of Tana Lake on the Ethiopian plateau reaches the High Dam Lake in just ten days, he added. This comes as a result of heavy rain fall on the Ethiopian plateau.The flood water runs 1341 km from Dungla to reach the High Dam Lake.
