Yokogawa Electric to Supply Plant Control Systems to Tatarstan
Tokyo, Sept. 9 (Jiji Press)–Yokogawa Electric Corp. said Tuesday it has concluded a agreement to supply control systems for oil and petrochemical plants to be built in the Russian republic of Tatarstan.
The Japanese firm will supply such systems to plant makers participating in the construction project, to be implemented by a subsidiary of Russian energy firm Rosneft.
Yokogawa expects to receive orders worth 7.5 billion yen in late 2008 or 2009 in the first phase of the project. Its order receipts are estimated to total some 12 billion yen in all the three phases, the company said.END
