The works of Norman Rockwell, renowned artist and official Boy Scouts of America illustrator for 50 years, are coming to Salt Lake City, courtesy of the Great Salt Lake Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

The Joseph Smith Memorial Building will be the site of this free display of Boy Scout art on Oct. 1 from 3-8:30 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 2.

The exhibit will display 25 original pieces from Norman Rockwell and Joseph Csatari. This event is open to all Scouters and the public.

The Great Salt Lake Council was one of eight U.S. Scout councils selected to host the exhibit in 2008.

Limited validated parking is available at the memorial building and the Plaza Hotel at the corner of West Temple and South Temple.

The Scout uniform or business dress is appropriate attire.
