Signal Hill Sponsors Tours of Region

The city of Signal Hill is offering a tour of the Long Beach Airport on Thursday as part of its Active Adults program.

The trip is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes an in-depth look at the Long Beach Airport with a 90-minute tour.

After the tour, participants will head to Legends of Aviation Cafe for lunch on their own.

The cost is $5 for residents, $10 for nonresidents.

Other program trips include the "Bewitching Broadway" Halloween cabaret show on Oct. 29, the Museum of Tolerance on Nov. 6, and Palm Springs Follies' "Get Your Kicks!" the legend and lore of historic Route 66 on Dec. 11.

Prices for each of these trips varies.

Pre-registration is required.

All trips leave from the Signal Hill Library, 1770 E. Hill St.
