Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar, to Deliver Opening Keynote at the Third Annual GPCA Forum

The Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) and Chemical Week announced today that Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Energy and Industry, Qatar, and Chairman and Managing Director, Qatar Petroleum will keynote the Middle East's largest petrochemicals event. The GPCA and Chemical Week also announced several other industry leaders who will be speaking at the event. Organized by the GPCA and co-organized by Chemical Week, the Third Annual GPCA Forum will be held December 2 - 4, 2008 at Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai, UAE. The theme of this year's Forum is "Managing growth and competitiveness in a cyclical industry". There will also be two separate breakout sessions on Human Resources and Supply Chain Management.

Following the Official Opening and GPCA Chairman's Address by Mohamed H. Al-Mady, Chairman, GPCA, and Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Mr. Al-Attiyah will deliver the GPCA Forum keynote presentation, entitled "Meeting Energy and Feedstock Needs for the Region", which focuses on some of the most significant challenges facing the Gulf today.
