EnerTeck Corporation Announces Reach Approval for the Expansion of Marketing Efforts to the European Union
EnerTeck Corporation (OTCBB: ETCK) (the "Company") announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, EnerTeck Chemical Corp. ("ECC"), intends to expand the market for its primary product EnerBurn(R) to the European Union.
With the recent approval by REACH in Helsinki of the Company's primary product EnerBurn(R) for sale in the European Union market nations, ECC has entered a new era in its history. REACH, the European Community Regulating Authority on chemicals and their safe use, deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical substances. The REACH Regulation mandates greater responsibility to industry to manage the risks from chemicals. Manufacturers and importers are required to gather information on the properties of their chemical substances to allow for their safe handling and to register the information in a central database run by the European Chemicals Agency in Helsinki.
Dwaine Reese, the Company's CEO, stated, "We know the usage of EnerBurn(R) both reduces diesel fuel consumption and improves emissions. We are so confident that we prove it to our customers using their own data and their own equipment. We believe our analytical methods remove any doubt relative to EnerBurn's(R) effectiveness under real world operating conditions." Mr. Reese further added, "Our initial sales efforts in Europe have resulted in a significant number of new prospects from many industries to express an interest in using EnerBurn(R)."
