Summer School invite for top physics student

A THIRD year University of Paisley BSc Physics student, David O'Donnell, has been selected to attend the prestigious Particle Physics and Astronomy International Undergraduate Summer School.
The annual Summer School, which started on June 23 at University of Durham and runs until July 26, brings together top students from around the globe.
The all expenses paid programme includes a series of evening lectures by internationally renowned particle physicists and astronomers, trips to the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh, and a visit to CERN - the world's largest particle physics centre - in Switzerland.
David, 21, who lives in Greenock, said: "I'm looking forward to the Summer School, it will be a great help to me."
