IQAir North America Joins Environmental Education Foundation's EPA Advisory Group on IAQ Management

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif., July 5 /PRNewswire/ -- IQAir North America, (IQAIR), the industry leader in medical grade air filtration, announced today that it is joining as a member of the Advisory Group convened by the Environmental Education Foundation (EEF). This Advisory Group is under a contract from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to promote the EPA's indoor air quality guidance. The Advisory Group will encourage use of the EPA IAQ guidance as the basis for managing indoor environmental quality risks.

The group's focus will be on the development and use of the EPA's IAQ Building Education and Assessment Model (I-Beam) software. The I-Beam software is a total IAQ management program for use by commercial and multi- family buildings.

According to Glory Dolphin, CEO of IQAir, "IQAir has worked with EEF and other industry partners to improve and promote the EPA's Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Guidelines and to establish best IAQ practices. We will facilitate the implementation of these practices. IQAir has assisted with the process by being a resource for air cleaning/filtration IAQ issues, document review, and industry/marketing outreach."
