Peanut Envy-brand cookie dough is recalled
Glutenfreeda Foods Inc. is among the latest U.S. firms recalling products having possibly tainted peanut ingredients produced by the Peanut Corp. of America.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Glutenfreeda is recalling all of its Peanut Envy-brand frozen cookie dough because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella from ingredients produced by PCA.
The frozen cookie dough is sold across the United States and Canada.
Dynamic Confections Inc. dba The Maxfield Candy Co. of Salt Lake City is recalling its entire peanut cluster products sold under the Maxfield's, Botticelli, Hallmark and Landmark brand names. The candy was distributed across the United States and Canada.
The Superior Nut and Candy Co. Inc. of Chicago said it has recalled its French burnt peanuts, Veracruz mix, and Boston baked beans candy sold as Stuckey's, Superior and Felix & Oscar brands in Illinois, Georgia, New Mexico, Florida, Wisconsin, Maryland and South Carolina.
