More peanut products are recalled
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says three more nationwide recalls have been issued for products containing possible tainted peanut products.
The possibly salmonella-contaminated peanuts, peanut butter and peanut granules were produced by the Peanut Corporation of America for use by manufacturers of various foods, including cookies, candy, ice cream, pet foods and other items.
Alaska Canine Cookies of Anchorage, Alaska, is recalling peanut butter, power bone and carrot cake flavors of its
Canine Cookies sold at its Alaskan stores and nationwide via the Internet because they were manufactured using peanuts recalled by PCA.
Dan the Sausageman Inc. of Burien, Wash., issued a recall for Anna's Pantry-brand honey roasted peanuts used in Dan the Sausageman gift boxes distributed nationally by Web sales.
The Fritz Company of Newport, Minn., announced the recall of Fritzie-brand chocolate peanuts.
