Dark chocolate spread is recalled
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of Le Pain Quotidien-brand Noir Belgian Dark Chocolate Spread due to a labeling error.
The FDA said some jars might contain undeclared milk, posing a health risk to people allergic to milk.
The recalled chocolate spread was sold at Le Pain Quotidien restaurants in New York, Connecticut, California, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
The lot code involved in the recall — 9015 — is printed on the lid of the jar.
