Jordan, Iraq to Sign Environment Protection Agreement

According to “Jordan Times”, Jordan and Iraq will soon conclude a cooperation agreement on environment protection, Minister of Environment Khalid Irani said following talks with his visiting Iraqi counterpart Nermin Othman. The Iraqi minister said her country needs concentrated efforts, coupled with Jordanian expertise, to chart plans and programs to address the deteriorating environmental situation in Iraq.
