Coal mine flooding kills three in central-south China province
CHANGSHA, July 11 (Xinhua) -- By 8:00 a.m. Monday, three miners were confirmed killed and three others survived in a coal mine flooding accident that occurred July 4 in Yongzhou City of central- south China's Hunan Province.
At 16:00 on July 4, a coal mine flooding accident took place in the Qiyang County of Yongzhou City which trapped 6 miners underground. The local government organized immediate rescue work and saved three of them.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated. And the local government is dealing with the aftermath of the accident.
