Canada recalls Haitai, Lotte brand cookies
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning people with allergies to milk not to consume Haitai and Lotte brands of cookies and crackers.
The CFIA said the recalled products, imported from Korea, contain milk which is not listed on the ingredients label. The cookies and crackers are known to have been distributed in Ontario, Alberta and New Brunswick, but the CFIA said they might have also been distributed nationally.
Consumption of the products could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in people allergic to milk.
