London 2012 chiefs last night said the Olympic Park site is free from contamination despite a revelation that it was the venue for an experimental nuclear reactor
. Queen Mary College's department of nuclear engineering built a reactor at Lower Lea Valley in 1980 but it closed two years later and the college last night insisted there are 'no ongoing health implications'.Source: Independent, The; London (UK)
