No damage from minor California quakes

No damage was reported Friday from three small earthquakes that struck north of San Francisco in Sonoma County, authorities said.

The tremors struck about 7 miles north of Cloverdale between 4:59 a.m. and 7:59 a.m. PDT, and ranged in magnitude from 1.9 to 3.1, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

Police and fire dispatchers in the region said they received no calls about the quakes, The (Santa Rosa, Calif.) Press-Dispatcher reported.
