Watchdog says cell phone radiation varies

The Environmental Working Group says U.S. consumers should be aware that certain cell phones emit more radiation than others.
USA Today said the government watchdog group posted a list of more than 100 cell phones Wednesday on www.ewg.org with the devices ranked in order of their individual radiation levels.
Jane Houlihan, the Washington-based group's senior vice president of research, said studies are showing increased risk for brain and mouth tumors for people who have used cell phones for at least 10 years.
Houlihan said while cell phones' link to cancer has not been proven definitively, her group is advising consumers to use cell phones with low levels of radiation in order to limit potential health problems.
USA Today said, according to the watchdog's list, the cell phones with the highest radiation levels are T-Mobile's MyTouch 3G, Motorola Moto VU204 and Kyocera Jax S1300. The cell phone with the lowest levels is the Samsung Impression.
