Great Value-brand berry cereal recalled
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of Great Value-brand berry crunch cereal because it might contain undeclared almonds.
The FDA said the Gilster-Mary Lee Corp. of Chester, Ill., initiated the recall of a single lot of 21-ounce packages of the cereal because it could present a health hazard for people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds or tree nuts.
Only packages listing the code 07 21 10 N02 are affected by the recall.
Consumers who purchased the product can return it for a refund or replacement. Consumers with questions can contact the company at 800-851-5371.
