Esfahan, 26 July: Oil Minister Bijan Namdar-Zanganeh said on Sunday [24 July] that his ministry plans to raise the gas distribution capacity of National Iranian Gas Company by 350 to 400 per cent this year.

Addressing a ceremony marking inauguration of Pol-Kalleh gas pressure station in Esfahan east of Tehran on Sunday, Zanganeh said his ministry has scored a great success in manufacturing compressors, which marks a great upheaval in related industry in Iran.

Zanganeh said establishment of gas pressure stations demonstrates a step towards promotion of national technology.
