Storage Site Sold for Pounds 96m

MERSEYSIDE electricity provider Manweb’s owner ScottishPower has sold its underground natural gas storage site in Cheshire for pounds 96m.
The Byley site will be ableto store 6bn cubic feet of gas in eight caverns. The deal with E.ON UK includes a 15-year storage contract for ScottishPower for a ‘substantial portion’ of the planned capacity
