Calvert County Board Votes to Endorse Third Nuclear Reactor at Lusby Power Plant

The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday voted unanimously to endorse NuStart Energy Development's request to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to add a third nuclear reactor at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant in Lusby
. NuStart - the country's largest consortium of nuclear energy companies - includes Baltimore- based Constellation Energy, which owns and operates the Calvert Cliffs nuclear plant.Source: The Daily Record (Baltimore)
