Repsol YPF SA and Irving oil plan to build an LNG terminal on Canada's east coast to supply northeastern U.S. and eastern markets in Canada. The plant, to be located in Saint John, will revert liquefied gas to its natural state for transport to consumers through pipelines by 2008, according to Repsol.
The plant will have an initial capacity of 10 billion cubic meters a year. Gas will be supplied by Repsol which is already a top supplier of LNG to the U.S., mainly from Trinidad and Tobago. Copyright Oildom Publishing Company of Texas, Inc. Jul 2005
