Local Electrical Power Consumption Estimated

According to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper (July 31, 2005), the Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) reported that 8775 megawatts/hr electrical power was generated in Egypt last June. The IDSC also reported that 7606 megawatts/hr electrical power was consumed in Egypt in the same month.
